Reverse Light Switch On Gearbox

ok, since the engine swap it's dont work

 

and i cant be bothered to trace,

 

so to get it working does one side of the switch need a live or negative sent to it? so once reverse is engaged it makes the circuit

You need a live to the one side and the other goes out to the reverse lights, the switch itself does not switch to earth.

so it just lets the live get to the rear lighs

funny enough now the oil temp gauge works...pmsl

is that onoly when you're in reverse

 

getting there if youre worrying about the reverse light then

yip all finished now, except fopr lambda sensor,

 

mate is popping around this week to weld the boss in,

 

then wire it up...eh mikeyG

 

 

then mot, then tax, then 3 days on track in september...lol

yeah how hard can 4 wires be...lol

 

 

i'm on track all day oat croft 2nd september

 

1 or 2 sessions on combe on 8th september

 

1 session at least at rally super car day, though 1 pass ride is already booked for this...lol
