Brake Lines, Joints Breaking

Recommended Posts

Longun

Right the only remaining problem after my beam swap has been my brake lines. They are snapping on the joints (circles in pic). I've circled the problem areas the braided line is ok but the copper line from there has snapped at joint and also the connection just before the calliper has rounded off and I can't remove it (without snapping the whole lot off. This is why I think I should replace the whole line from the calliper connection right back to the braided hose. What have others done?

can you not grip whats left with mole grips and undo it? Even if you just manage to undo the one at the braided hose then replace the rubber flexi as they are cheap enough.

I have managed to save the braided hoses but I think I'm going to have to replace the rest right up to the calliper. Thanks

Yea got some made up for £6 :) Didn't need the end flex hoses either as I managed to get the old stuff off in the end.
