No Spark Or Fuel, Help Please

Recommended Posts

welshpug

commonly if you get RPM signal you get spark and rev counter signal, must be an ecu issue then.

will be an interesting engine :)

ok another step forwards, I have spark on 2 pots, it seems there is no signal to fire the other two even though its set correct in megatune and the wire has continuity, the led also blinks as though firing. I think its down to my installation of the extra coil driver. Hope someone can help here. Have a look at the diagram on

http://www.msextra.com/manuals/MS_Extra_Ig...anual.htm#2coil

does this mean I need a wire and resistor from both resistors, one to vb921 and the other to IGBTN ?

I have done top of r29 to resistor to extra vb921 and the other 2 wires from this as per diagram, also put the link in place at end of pin 3 wire. No R57 there either. I just dont have the wire from r26 with the 330 ohm in place. I read it as one or the other?

I took it as you need to have all the mods done so you need the r26 and the 330ohm put in place.

This is one of the reasons I chickened out and sent my unit ti Bill Shurvington for testing and this extra driver, shift light capability and enabled to directly drive the tacho (not sure exactly what this is but will find out when I get it back!!).

the spark issue was one of the wires and resistors not put in <_<

crank issue was as said earlier, the jumper needed to not be inverted.

only issue now is it wont do anything above 1800 rpm, it just dies. Getting a timing strobe tomorow to play with ignition timing then wil lwork from there.
