Lopsided Front Supension?

Recommended Posts

johnnyboy666

ive got spax adjustable shocks and lowering springs on the front of my roland garros, (and contrary to many of the opinions on here i find they give quite a comfortable ride) the problem being the passenger side rubs with 3 or more people in the car when turning right, but the drivers side has never come close to touching the arch, they sit they same height on both sides and are both on the same setting for stiffness and seem fine when it just me in the car

im confused,

any ideas?

thanks

john

The front rubs or do you mean the back? :)

If it's the back you have probably lost a bumpstop.

the backs fine just the front on the passenger side rubs on the little lip on the arch, which i have attempted to bend in a little, which has helped slightly but still rubs sometimes :)

ha could be, but it isnt one of these fancy gti malarky's so it was originally on stilts, now about the same as standard gti i recon, but with the smaller arches :D
