JR20516V 6 Posted August 7, 2007 Are the kickplates in the footwells either side the same as the GTi ones....or does the CTI have unique to that car kickplates??? [kickplates are the vertical plastic bits to the right of the drivers foot and to the left of the passengers foot...where the bonnet release catch is attached to ] Any help appreciated. cheers J Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
GLPoomobile 958 Posted August 7, 2007 I don't know much about CTIs but do remember a recent topic about carpets, and someone mentioned that in the CTI the carpet comes up the sides of the footwell where on a GTI you have the plastic trim. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GLPoomobile 958 Posted August 8, 2007 Those kick plates are a pain in the arse to fit on a GTI, so how long did you mess around trying to fit them over the carpet on the CTI? Trying to get them to line up properly to get the little screw in the hole, and getting the bolts for the bonnet catch in place really pisses me off.
