C_W 3 1 Cars Posted August 7, 2007 As Miles said the Girling/Lucas type was fitted to all 1.9s in the UK; the other type would be Bendix (fitted to 1.6GTis in the UK) and would just look like a bigger rear caliper (kind open back). The Girling/Lucas caliper requires two 13mm bolts to be undone so the caliper can be lifted off the caliper carrier to change pads. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
richosabroard 0 Posted August 8, 2007 (edited) Mine must be the Lucas/Girling type as they have the 13mm bolts holding them on and they look different to the rear calpiers.My car is orriginally from Japan and recently imported to Canada privatly if that helps? richosabroard 0 Posted August 15, 2007 I managed to get the specs for the pads and mine are the girling type.I have even found front pads over here as they are the same as a Renault Fueogo( don't think thats spelt right !!!! ) and they were sold over here.
