djinuk 2 Posted August 4, 2007 ive brought a 1.9 205 gti, however one wheel is towed inwards and is actually fouling on the inner wheel arch, what would be my best plan of action, should i replace the whole beam with another used unit. Get it refubed, if so where and how much will i be paying, or if anybody selling a refurbed rear beam
welshpug 1,657 Posted August 5, 2007 you never know how bad it is untill its stripped down, but if its actually rubbign it doesnt sound too hopeful for the tube.
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted August 5, 2007 Rubbing on the inner arch doesn't sound good at all, 90% chance of the beam tube being worn oval, Cheaper to find another beam but these must be bought as scrap these day's unless the seller has proof of a recent rebuild,
