e30m3 0 Posted August 4, 2007 Hi Can anyone recomend me a place to get reasonable discs and fluid for my 205 GTI from. My cars a 1.6 GTI. I've looked at my local motor factors and they only sell apexi stuff, is this any good? Also how much fluid is in the whole system? i want to drain out all of the old stuff and replace with a reasonably priced uprated brake fluid. hengti 2 Posted August 4, 2007 re. fluid; Castrol Response is very good IMO but expensive (over £10/litre); normal DoT4 would be fine in a roadie not sure how much there is in the system but would have thought half a litre would do it all - providing you don't waste any fluid (which is v easy to do when bleeding). get an Easibleed if you haven't already got one - seemingly much more efficient than the two man method and will help save fluid as a consequence.
