Rj Front Wishbones For Track Car...

As the title suggests really....

 

... I'm having my track car rebuilt and i'm wondering if £ for £ if it's worth paying the extra to get rose jointed front wishbones for a track [not rally] car instead of replacing the 205 arms with longer 309 arms and driveshafts?

 

your thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

It's a lot of money to be keeping the same roll centre as standard arms.

If it's a track only car and you can afford the Rose Jointed ones then go for it, At least then you can adjsut the suspension camber to what ever you need

I've been thinking about getting some of these for my track car, seeing as I'm wearing out the RHS ball joint about once a season. (On the inside kerbs at Knockhill). Are the rose joints stronger in this respect?

If they're adjustable you'll get great possibilites to optimize camber as well as add a bit more castor so it seems like a good idea. Remember though the risks of snapping the threads!

I have & I still am! Longman's built the engine. seam welded, fabricage roll cage, uprated TB's & ARB's, coilovers, Alcon brakes, everything except i can't make my mind up on RJ front or not, carbon fiber external bits or and whether to install an MXL Strada or Race Technology Dash 2 system... so I hear what you say but i'm already there on the others!
