migti 0 Posted July 31, 2007 hi all rite to set the story, out in the car felt like it ran out of fuel. back to house checking over, good spark , smells of fuel when turning over, cleaned plugs ect. no go. not even a splutter. swaped afm for a good one no diff. can anyone point me in next steps? gti-si 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Checked the injectors are praying correctly? ECU? Check all the ignition components again, even thougn you have a spark. It sounds to be like fuel pump or tachy relay, cant understand how it would smell of fuel that way though. Could be massive overfuelling actally. Turn the engine over a few times, then unplug all the injectors and turn it over again, if it fires and runs for a few seconds we know the engines being flooded. Main cuplret for that would be the ecu temp sender. But just give that a go, see if you get a result Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
