The reason i ask is i need the left breather hose on the oil filler cap which i ordered from peugeot and the wrong one came(too big) i went back and he said there is 5 different variations of 1.9(never heard that one)i thought it was XU9/XU5,i did tell him the thin hose but then he started getting all shirty. daza 0 Posted July 30, 2007 (edited) That's what i thought so i told him xu9 but the wrong pipe came so i went back today and he said it wasn't a xu9 then because the xu9ja should have both the same size breather pipes on the oil filler cap,is that right? welshpug 1,657 Posted July 30, 2007 nope, it has a smaller diameter pipe on the front of it that goes to the top of the T/B, the larger pipe goes to the AFM to T/B elbow or the K&N adapter. on the back of the filler pot body itself there is a pipe that goes to the smaller of the 2 pipes on the block, the larger one goes to the bottom of the pot this should help you a fair bit http://www.stuartmcguire.co.uk/pug/GB/205N/1/11C51A.HTM Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

All the ones I've seen on both 1.6 and 1.9 GTi's have been different sizes, although the Parts CD is suggesting otherwise - the part number above is for the smaller of the two options anyhow that fits in with 1.9's that I've seen...
