I nowdont have a clue which options to solder on the MS v3 board, options are for variable reluctance, optical, hall or coil. Does it work the same as the edis pick up? if so then its variable reluctance.

Variable reluctance = VR sensor = crank position sensor as used with a toothed wheel.
