What Colour For Track/hill Climb Car

Recommended Posts

Scottieb

Theres a big part of may saying just keep it white, I love the look of the 205 in white, its probably my favorite colour but theres just so many of them!

.:My Car:.

So, its going to be getting a full paint job after the cage goes in, the question is, if i do decide to change the colour, what clour to go for?

Ideally i'd like it to be non metalic, but these cars just dont suit that many colours. I did think about bright yellow, but then decided not, lates one is kawasaki green??

I dont like red, i had a red one and just didn't warm to it.

So how can i make this car stand out without looking like a chav?

Scott

I'd always go for a non metallic colour.

I'd go for white or red, but others could be sunburst yellow or indigo blue or black.

If the current white paint is in good condition, leave it white.

Have a look at Sean Mckeowns car for an idea of how good white can look...

Blue. A mid blue, solid colour. Like Miami blue but a non metallic and vibrant shade. Would look sweet with white wheels.

There's also a very practical reason for painting competition cars white... it makes it easy to spot cracks.

Easy to spot cracks as Rob says, any defects any where, easy to repair/paint and of course it just looks MOTASPORT!! :D
