pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted July 21, 2007 If the wiper is the original one it could die at any time without warning imo. Fuse #3 does both wiper motors & radio on the 1989 GTi along with the stop lights so it seems to be Ok if the rear wiper is working. Take the cover over the wiper motor off & check for vlotage at the plug witht e wipers on. Posdsible that the wiper stalk has died. Graham. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
