mogsman 2 Posted July 20, 2007 Anyone know what type the relay is? All I need is another door loom and motor and the relay which will hopefully be down the scrappy.

mogsman 2 Posted July 21, 2007 Thanks Graham, mine also has the second relay missing. I have one motor and loom but doesn't work when on the car, but works when I connect it to 12v. Is there something else that needs to be plugged into the fuse box? Mine is a H reg phase 2. Ian

mogsman 2 Posted July 23, 2007 Not sure on the second relay, its the same with the fuses as every slot has a fuse in it. I need to get out and check. Ian
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted July 23, 2007 The second green relay has been posted in the other topic stating its for the electric windows, if you don't have on there that could be a very good reason why they don't work. I'll check mine on my STDT tomorrow & if removing that relay stops them working it confirms what Craigb said. Graham.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted July 25, 2007 I'll check mine on my STDT tomorrow & if removing that relay stops them working it confirms what Craigb said. I checked my STDT earlier & that doesn't have the second relay but the electric windows work. Not every slot in the fusebox shoudl have a fuse in, some are spare but you need to know which ones. What year is your car & I'll post the list. Although all have the electric window as fuse #9 20amp. Graham.

mogsman 2 Posted August 6, 2007 Thanks Graham, I'll take out fuses 6 and 12. Would I have the wires that go into the fuse box already? Ian
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted August 6, 2007 Would I have the wires that go into the fuse box already?Ian If you've got the wiring looms in the doors I would've thought so but every car is different & not always helped by several previous owners. Looking at the Haynes wiring diagram the electric window relay should be in the fusebox. The plug for the electric windows on the fusebox is from pin W in this picture Graham.
