cossie350 0 Posted July 19, 2007 To cut a long story short the Shenpar boot lids are flimsey hard to fit and dont seal. I got around this by cutting the inner skin from my old boot lid and bonding it to the fiberglass outer skin. This strengthens it, retains the hinge mounting points and gives it 80% of it seal back. Oh and its still Fookin light . Just thought this might help if your scraching your head thinking how the hell am i going to fit this (like i was 3 days ago). Also X sport ar going to be making them soon which should be very good quality. Do a search on here for spoox and see if you still want to but from them. Jrod 7 Posted July 20, 2007 I'm interested at how much mine must weigh now, It's the original metal one but cut a fair bit from it. Since then I've cut out even more and got a polycarb window fitted. Can't be that much heavier than a fibreglass one and with the quite big price tag attached i'll stick with mine as it is for a little while.
