d-9 0 Posted July 17, 2007 Does anyone have a list of the part no's of all the bearings and seals you need to rebuild a beam? Trying to save another long, silly, conversation with the pug parts guy.

d-9 0 Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) If there was any chance of me doing a search on here, Id have done it by now, but I'd rather have the long chat with the pug guy tbh! Edited July 17, 2007 by d-

Trying to save another long, silly, conversation with the pug parts guy. Try this website, to register is free and you can browse the part catalogue that the dealerships do for free, its pretty damb useful, you can find all the part numbers for most pug and if you enter the vin no. you get only the part for that car. http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/

If you cut and paste the list then print it out and take it to peugeot garage with you then you got a fighting chance. d-9 0 Posted July 18, 2007 Thats just what I was after, cheers. Hopefully can get away without buying the shafts which should keep the bill down a bit.
dale205mills 39 7 Cars Posted July 18, 2007 (edited) My 205 is on a k plate and it needed one shaft on the driver's side, passenger side was fine. I talked to rob at x sport raceing and he seid all the beams they have came across the driver's shaft needed replaceing, i even striped my other beam down to see and the driver's side was shot on that aswell but there again 205's are a classic car these day's so you will get proplem's like this, but i think it's part of the fun Edited July 18, 2007 by dale205mills
d-9 0 Posted July 18, 2007 Yeh that seems pretty much par, i tend to assume that all beams are shot these days until proven otherwise! Reason im optimistic is mine was rebuilt a year back, so im hoping the shafts are ok.
