A2TheA 0 Posted July 17, 2007 im removing he door locks and fitting remote central locking on my phase 1 gti, only because some little punk kids thought they would be cool and remove my locks for me. thanks guys. so i have bought a remote central locking kit and going to fit it. the kit came with diagrams but i am after some sort of wiring diagram with colours or labled so i know which wires i have to cut into. can anyone help me at all. i saw the other 'itting remote central locking' opic but i couldnt really make head nor tail of that. any help would be appreciated cheers Aaron Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
matty_gti 20 Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) Its really easy to do, do you not have a diargram then on how to set it up?. Best thing to do is attach all your solanoids to the main cl box out of the car then you can fiddle around to get it working right then its just a case of pulling panels of interior out and routing the wires through the car.
