Rough Cost To Repair & Paint A Panel

Recommended Posts

Dave_McC

Can anyone give me a rough heads up on the cost to knock out a dent at the rear of the rear quarter panel (someone's clipped it reversing out of the adjacent parking space) - dent is about fist sized right on the rear of the panel, and then to repaint in miami blue. I can strip bumper, trim panel and light unit.

Also, where around Crawley / East Grinstead would anyone recommend to do this?

Cheers

Dave

If the dent is a dent and not a crease u may get it popped out , and therefore not need to pay for spray, if the paint is cracked unfortunatly to get a decent finish the spray but be blow halfway across the door, and all of the rear quarter, so i would say in the region of £120 plus by a pikey sprayer, and £300 for a A* job.

Try the Dent man /Dent wizard or whatever they are called near you.

The mobile man will pull the dent out with his magic bars ( I've had a go ) and then paint it for you. It is possible to paint and laquer small areas if you know how to do it.

Say 30 quid for the dent and 30 quid for the paint job if you need it. (all prices estimated) job done. :D
