madspikes 41 1 Cars Posted July 14, 2007 I have just put a MS and 405 coil packs on to the pug, it starts and runs but quite lumpy. On further investigation, I found out that I can disconnect two plug leads (or injector lead) and it doesnt make any difference to the running of the car, which just isnt right! It seems that only the top left and bottom right outlets of the coil pack are doing anything! The strange thing is that when I remove a plug lead from the 'not' working cylinders it still arcs to the block.. so it must be working right or can a coil pack fail like this?
