What Makes Your Rev Counter Do This?

She revs fine, but the rev counter doesn't agree! I removed the rev limiter to see if that was interfering, but it still does it!!

either a broken wire between coil and tacho, or dodgy tacho or interferance from elsewhere

i would guess that the battery light would have something to do with it. the needle dropping under engine load reminds me of the battery dimming when theres a power fault.

Fixed... cheers for your help guys, i checked a few connections etc, then resolderd some dodgey looking ones and hey presto :)
