Help With Conversion.

Recommended Posts

Longun

Just wondering if anyone off here wanted to earn a few £££'s helping me swap almost the whole of the 309 setup onto my 1.6. Wishbones, hubs shafts, rear beam and bushes etc. I'm based in the forest of dean GL14 but will travel or pay for your travelling. I need to try and get it done in 1 day as I use the car for work at the moment.

Thanks

When do you want to do it?

I am based on the other side of Gloucester, but I'm not that far away. Have done the the beam and other parts to my 309 so know how it all goes together.

More than happy to give you a hand.

Felix.

If you get stuck I'm not too far away (in Swindon) and have done a few 309 running gear conversions in my time :D

Thanks to both :D The planned date is Aug 4th as I've got weddings this week and next and I've got a few bits still to get like bushes and a couple of brake lines. Will drop you a PM closer the time. Don't suppose either of you can lower the beam too? Will already be off the car.

No prob mate! :D

I think Anthony is the man to ask about lowering beams etc, seems to know his stuff on them!

I lowered the beam on my 309 when it was on. It was on a 205 before I got it and it was a bit decked when I let it down off the jacks!! ;) Its very easy if the beam is in good condition, just takes a bit of time to make sure it is correct!

Yea, give me a PM a bit nearer the time, sure that I will be able to help.
