boldy205 75 Posted July 12, 2007 hi, i had my MI running on webers the other day and one of the varbs (both are second hand) was overfueling and even leaking fuel into the carb choke when the engine is off Any ideas? Thanks matt.
Richie-Van-GTi 74 2 Cars Posted July 12, 2007 do webers use a float bowl? if they do then Id suspect that blowing a seal on the valve. If not then probably a needle stuck open or bad jetting.
boombang 2 Posted July 12, 2007 As above, check the drop on the floats, that the fuel pressure is within acceptable limits (2.5 to 3.5 psi IIRC), and that the needles are moving freely.
