If you are changing to a coil pack you will need the whole loom & ecu along with a flywheel with timing teeth & thermostat housing etc.

The original 205 ecu & loom cannot be used with a coilpack.

I assume you mean coil rather than coil pack, as in you are changing from the cylindrical wing mounted to the square plenum mounted one. If thats the case then Im pretty certain that when looking at the shape of the connector on the square type there are 2 lugs, one wide and one narrow. Starting at the narrow end it goes live, live, blank, earth + tacho.

Actually the "square" coil only has 2 connections but 4 pins, they´re interconnected, and in most cases its printed "+" and "-" at the ends of the connector on it. Is on the ones i have here anyways. So the 2 to one side is "+" and the 2 to the other side is "-", pretty straight forward i think.

I will switch to a "round" coil soon though since i´ve found the quality of the square ones to be a bit crappy.

How many round coils have you heard of breaking, and how many square ones ? :( , in my experience the square one tops that list easily.
