vern 0 Posted July 11, 2007 I am investigating a knocking sound on the front of my 205, and stripped the power steering rack, I removed the pinon valve (no 3 here http://stuartmcguire.co.uk/pug/GB/205F/4/40E01A.HTM). Is there a specific way it reassembles, as looking through the pipe inlets/outlets there are holes and groves etc for fluid flow, and I imagine there must be a straight ahead position. Does anybody know how the pinon valve works as testing it blowing through holes air comes out of both inlet/outlets no matter which way the shaft is postioned.
