Peugeot are saying that its gona take them a week to get new flywheels bolts in but im trying to get the car back together for FCS this weekend... the old ones only done 50 miles (leaking oil crank seal)

how safe is it to reuse the old ones? can i just whack a load of thread lock on them?

thanks

You're fine to use old ones, but like you seem to realise it's best to use loctite.

I didn't use threadlock on mine and they are still holding tight, but the threads do deteriorate over time so it's best to use it.

I've never replaced any of mine, really the only time they have been tioghtened is on the initial build so the maximum any of mine have been torqued is three times & they are still fine.

I always put locktite on them though when they go back in.

I dont replace mine either, use a tap to clean the crap out the threads and a wire brush for the bolt, then loctite them. Although I do swap the clutch bolts for normal hex headed bolts rather than crappy allen/socket head bolts.
