Vts/106 Gti Calipers On A 205?

hi, a mate of mine has a set of front calipers from a 99 vts knockin around and im just wondering will they fit my '90 1.9 gti? ive already swapped the discs from my old vts wit the ones on the 205 and they fit grand but the caliper on the 205 is slightly smaller, so will the vts ones fit as a replacement?

The VTS calipers should fit. In fact they are the same ATE calipers which the 306 (with 247mm vented discs) uses and they fit onto 205's no problems.

Yes they'll fit, but I'd use 1.9 GTi Girling calipers over ATE rubbish everytime...
