Jrod 7 Posted July 9, 2007 (edited) Right here is my wheel with washers just to set how long the spacer will be. I have just over 10mm sticking out I'd say which isn't really enough, does anyone know where I can get some taper seat bolts LONGER than 60mm? The one in the pic is 60mm so 70 would be perfect. Or wheel studs, will need to be bloody long though, 100-110mm I guess. Edited July 9, 2007 by Jrod
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted July 9, 2007 I'm currently arranging a quick group buy for some more studs, 100mm ones are available (longest listed) but I didn't ask for the price just now when I rang about the others. That is to little thread sticking through though imo, I definately wouldn't use them, once the disc width is included you'd might only have about 5mm in the hub which is very dangerous. Graham. Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted July 9, 2007 You ought to go for studs anyway as it is a pain to line up the wheel and insert the bolt with a spacer on.
Jrod 7 Posted July 9, 2007 Yep ideally but I didn't know where I could get them long enough!
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted July 9, 2007 In that case, you could get a spacer made with countersunk bolts and have the 4x108 pattern drilled and tapped into the spacer and use normal bolts

pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted July 13, 2007 I got the stud conversion group buy stuff through one of their distributers, you can't buy direct from them. graystone engineering.com They don't list any bolts longer than 75mm iirc. Graham.
