Does An Sad Contain Water?!

Recommended Posts

pugpaul

I think i have found the SAD. Its under the dizzy cap with a breather hose that connects very close to the AFM on a K&N pipe. The other hose on the SAD is on the top of it. When removed the SAD lets out a load of coolant. I have just checked a load of old SAD questions and have found nothing about them containing water......have i found the SAD or have i found some other engine device?!

Also...... there is a little blue 2 pin plug that goes into the SAD......thats if i have found the SAD of course :D

nope!!! the SAD is Directly unsder what you have disconnected though, it has a black connector on it similar to the blue one, you've probably crossed your hoses :D but that quite easy as theres tons of wires and hoseds down there, usually covered in crud!

no you have found the water block for the ECU temp sensor (blue plug) , the SAD bolts onto this normally.
