Hi all

any idea where i can get a new/recon master cylinder?

a set of ready made brake pipes?

and new compensators?

apart from pug

i dont want to pay Halfrauds prices (ive heard they are expensive and dont want to make them myself)

You can get complete Car kits of brake line from a company called Automec, all ends fitted and Pipes flared.

 

Master Cylinder you can get from places Like GSF or ECP for o.e stuff at good prices, similarly for the compensators IIRC, another place to try is www.brakeparts.co.uk

and brakelines from automec - about £80 i think? not sure about that one though

Brake pipes £70 from Automec - piece of piss to fit even when lying in puddles of water.

Another vote for the Automec kit , ready lengthed, but not ready formed, so you

have to bend them to shape yourself. easiest way I found is to roll them out into one long

straight length easily done by hand or using a radiused(curved) block of wood, and

them curve to fit or if you have existing pipe work just copy them.

Fitted mine within one morning.

Yeah, the Automec kits are great. Just remove each pie, in turn, then just bend the appropriate Automec pipe to the same shape. Which is really easy as they are copper, won't rust either
