Tom_Fowler 0 Posted July 4, 2007 (edited) Hi I am looking for a pedal box for my 205 rally car. There is a few available and wanted some feed back from others who have tried them? For example I have seen one in rally design for 140 quid but there is no picture to see the quality of the bias bar assembly used etc. Thanks Tom Edited July 4, 2007 by Tom_Fowler
Powers 13 Posted July 4, 2007 I bought a pedal box from WMMS for double that price and I wasnt pleased with the overall quality of the unit. For that price I would just buy one and see, if its weak you can always modify it. However as you mentioned it might be worth emailing them asking for a picture and the manufacturer of the adjuster and mc's. http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/produ...roducts_id=4036

Rob Thomson 6 Posted July 4, 2007 I had a TAS bias box and it was sh*t. The only one I've looked at that I thought was any good was the proper Peugeot Sport item. It looked like it had been built by someone with a brain. Beware the cheaper ones, they don't have proper spherical bearings on the bias bar, just a s*it thing that slides in a tube and wears very quickly.
Chris H 10 Posted July 5, 2007 Compbrake/tas are pretty useless to be honnest! I use the pedal boxes from Martin Wildash motorsport http://mwmotorsport.co.uk/Index.html and the quality is very good. You can buy the bare pedal box and build it with your own cyls or get a complete unit. Thats my best recommendation unless you can find a uesd PTS one cheap
