GWtaylor 8 1 Cars Posted July 3, 2007 Its a "87" 1.6 CTI Now i was told that the 87 model got the 1.9 head but how can i tell Also I'm trying to Do a rewire and the haynes manual explains about TU, XU Which one is mine in the XU range I tried to have a look at the plate under the bonnet and this is what i got Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,657 Posted July 3, 2007 IF its the original engine its a B6 so its a XU5ja or XU5JA/K to confirm this look for the small aluminium plate thats on the cylinder head next to the mounting by the top timing cover. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
