justinv 4 1 Cars Posted July 2, 2007 so after some time ago i said i am going to change my 1.6 as previous owner had used tap water and now i am enjoying a couple of holes in the block, finally came around to get a 1.9 8v from a 405 GTX. I am hoping that i will have the time to rebuild the engine, i have to change gaskets for sure and liners and piston rings, anyone suggests any mods to uprate a bit performance, I am still going to use standard 1.6 managment or 1.9, depends if ill manage to get a 1.9 afm and also keeping the 1.6 box.
