timb1046 1 Posted July 2, 2007 i bought a 205 last week with the speedo not working (have gps) and thought it had probably just snapped.... however, it doesnt actualy exist! so i have ordered a new one but cant find where it goes to on the engine. is there any chance of someone taking a pic of where it goes or doing a realy good explination?? cheers Tim Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,657 Posted July 2, 2007 it doesnt go to the engine, it goes to the gearbox. if you look at where the right hand driveshaft goes into the box you'll see a housing bolted to the side of the diff which the shaft passes through, on the top of this will be a plastic speedo drive where the cable will plug into.
