Big_Jimbob 0 Posted June 30, 2007 Hey guys, iv noticed that my 1.9has a very strange vibration coming from the engine, if sit with the engine running and rev it to anywhere between 2750 and 3000rpm the engine vibrates quite a lot and seems to shake the whole car a bit, it happens too when traveling between these engine revs in any gear...... Iv also noticed that pulling off from a junction it judders a bit and reversing too, its the same feeling as when at these revs... It seems like its an engine mount at fault, any ideas if this it the right diagnosis and if so any suguestions on how to check whic one it will be? and where they are in the first place? thanks Jim Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brianthemagical 1 Posted June 30, 2007 (edited) sound like resonance. do you have an after market/knackered exhaust? uprated engine mouts or any other mods? give all the engine mounts a visual check and give them a pull to see if they look or feel excesivly worn. It does depend whether You want uprated Group N ones or just OE replacements.
