hafslund 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Hey... Just finished up a mi16 conversion and everything is running fine...sort of... The "k-light" turns on after a couple of minutes and stays on...now it's on all the time...okey, so the next step is to read the fault codes..BUT, it does not work.. I used a wiring loom from a 1992 309 GTi 16V which seems to be different from the "normal" Mi16 loom. On pin two of the diagnostic socket there usually sits two wires, and this is where you connect the breaker to ground but on mine there is only one. on the other pin it's the same negative signal as the "K-light" receives. Is it another procedure when reading faultcodes on this or is it not possible to do maually? The ECU nr ends with 529 in stead of 161, but both types work. Anybody got any experience with this? Will go outside and get the wirenumbers later.. And no, I don't have the wiring diagram for it...
hafslund 0 Posted June 27, 2007 The wires on the diagnostic socket is 55 and 15a 15a is the same as the k-light signal.
