dawning 11 Posted December 23, 2015 Got quoted about £25 a side for the rear beam mounts which is pretty steep. What do people use here? the BBM group B ones have been out of stock for a while and they are 25 for the pair (I assume) Febi ones are less than £ 10 a side. Tom Fenton 1,542 Posted December 23, 2015 If it's a road car the Febi ones are decent enough.
dawning 11 Posted December 23, 2015 Thanks for your recommendation. It is a road car, I have replaced the engine mounts with the bbm ones although I do find the added vibration and noise a slight issue. Are the bbm rear beam mounts noticeably harsher and noisier? I could e-mail them do find out when they will be in stock.
j_turnell 137 3 Cars Posted December 23, 2015 The engine mounts will 'bed in' so to speak after a few hundred miles, but you will still have a bit of vibration. I didn't notice a great deal of difference when fitting the grpn rear beam mounts in terms of noise or vibration.
