Doof 11 Posted June 27, 2007 Ok i've recently taken a lot of the engine ancilliaries off to clean things up in the hope of sorting my godawful idle out but since putting it all back together it seems to be pinking loads, if indeed the sound i'm hearing is pinking. Even at 3000 rpm with half throttle it seems to pink a little bit. The only thing that has changed that could affect it is the vacuum advance which i've reattached and the idle screw which might be out slightly too much. I'm gonna get thw WD40 out and check for air leaks, but what else could it be? Could the vac advance or slightly too open throttle screw cause it?
