ashlee205gti 1 Posted June 24, 2007 My cars developed a strange habit. When i am on power the car pulls to the right and i find i have to keep the steering wheel held about 10 degrees to the left to carry on driving in a straight line, but when i am off the power and just rolling i can keep the steering wheel straight. It also seems to pull really bad when the wheels find a rut in the road, it tends to follow that rather then where i am pointing the steering. . Feels a bit wobbly in the corners aswell. Car has power steering if that helps the diagnosis. Thankyou. Ash.

matt-k 0 Posted June 24, 2007 Definately sounds like bushes, i had an old escort that did exactly that and i just let it get worse (not a good idea) i ended up having to turn the wheel all the time just to get it to go straight. (in an all over the road kind of fashon!)
zilog 0 Posted June 24, 2007 Can be wishbone bushes, spindle joint, or the spindle joint holt being ovalled.
pugbliss 0 Posted June 25, 2007 i had this a few days ago and found my hub had a big crack down it where the wishbone ball joint bolts in..... i replaced it and now its fantastic again..... i too thought wishbone bushes but when i looked i saw the crack. If i had hit a pot hole i could of lost it totally.
