chris 417 mi 34 2 Cars Posted June 24, 2007 Cant decide which looks better : spray the inlet manifolds silver or black (will be spraying bodies blue ) Ant opinions ??
Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted June 24, 2007 quick shop of the bodies in blue. I thought the black may look odd but if you do them gloss black with blue bodies it will look a bit smart that matt black doent look right though.

DamirGTI 342 Posted June 24, 2007 Hi ! Me thinks that the inlet mainfold should be left silver coloured , so that it reflects heat rather than absorbing it . cheers Damir
Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted June 24, 2007 damn your demanding :p Bit of a rushed effort, tried to gloss the black a bit and definatley think it looks better.

Banjo 1 Posted June 24, 2007 Tooo much blue leave the bodies red! Also you can do away with that metal pipe on the back on the head, looks tidyer without.. Silver inlet
RossD 44 Posted June 25, 2007 Me thinks that the inlet mainfold should be left silver coloured , so that it reflects heat rather than absorbing it Not 100% scientifically true here.... If the manifold is hotter than the surrounding air, it will actually give off more heat than if it was silver. But, if the manifold was cooler than the surrounding air, it will absorb more heat if it was black but "reflect" more heat if silver. Its a case of 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other! Super Josh 4 Posted June 25, 2007 I say leave the Bodies red and get the cam cover powder coated red to match. This will compliment the Miami paint work nicely, like the red strip does down the side of the car. Otherwise I think it is too much blue with the paintwork as well. Oh, and inlet manifold in silver Josh
