frodo_monkey 0 Posted June 18, 2007 Hi all, Was attempting to get another job off the 'to do' list today by replacing the clutch cable! Unfortunately the one in my box of spares and the one that came out of the car aren't the same... (see below, the used-looking one on the right was in the car, the newish one on the left is my spare) Its a 1991 1.6GTi, BE3 'box. So which one of the GSF ones should I go for: T71512 CLUTCH CABLE 205 1.6>1.9 10/83>90 (BE1 GEARBOX); 12.00 T71514 CLUTCH CABLE 205 1.6>1.9 7/88>91 *** 9.25 T71516 CLUTCH CABLE 205 1.6>1.9 91> (BE3 GEARBOX); 9.25 I did try a search and had a look at Miamistu's website with no joy. StuF215 1 1 Cars Posted June 18, 2007 The cable on the left is a be1, it won't fit your be3 clutch pedal and box. You need a be3 cable. T71516. Doof 11 Posted June 18, 2007 I had exactly the same problem the other day, i got mine euro car parts and it says BE3 on the bag but its got that metal end with no horizontal pin.
