Suspension Upgrade To 309 Gti Stuff

Hi

 

I've found a K reg 309 GTI at a scrappy nearby, which still has all its suspension etc on it (it only came in recently). No bodywork damage so don't know why it's been scrapped.....

 

For upgrades to a 1.6 205 gti, what parts should I scavenge? I'm thinking:

 

Front wishbones

Driveshafts

Hubs and struts

Rear beam (though condition obviously totally unknown)

 

Is it also worth having the front subframe complete with the above still fitted?

Anti roll bar and drop links???

Any other bits??

Your list looks good to me. For ease you could just take the whole subframe yes. The ARB is thicker than the 205 item.
