laser green 1.9 0 1 Cars Posted June 16, 2007 (edited) I've just burned out the bushes on my beam and I'm replacing them with nylon ones. Am I right in saying that the bracket that goes onto the bush with the D on goes on the drivers side and the one with a G goes on the passenger side? Mick. Rupertfinch 6 Posted June 16, 2007 (edited) Stab in the dark, but being a french heap ... D for Droit (right) and G for Gauche (Left), so I would think that as you look at them D for the drivers side and G for the passengers? Haven't done this myself, so might be better to wait for confirmation from elsewhere. Mark. Edited June 16, 2007 by Rupertfinch
laser green 1.9 0 1 Cars Posted June 16, 2007 I seem to have a major problem with my re built beam. The passenger side wheel is sat a long way back, to the point where it is rubbing on the back arch. The beam doesn't seem to sit straight on the car. Has anybody got a idea where I should start to look. The old beam didn't rub on the arch even thought it was well beyond economical repair. The beam that I've built has new bearings shafts and new bushes. I just can't understand it. I'll post some photos later.
