Sbc Roadspeed Phase 2 Suspension

Hi,

 

phoned skip brown cars to price their phase 2 roadspeed kit

they gave me a price (£775 + vat supply only just in case anyone's interested) but the girl on the phone did not know the actual torsion bar and arb sizes they supply for a road going car with the roadspeed kit.

does anyone know what they are?

is it 20mm, 21mm or even 23mm for the torsion bars and is it 23mm or 24mm for the ARB.

i have listed all the various sizes they list in their catalogue for the 205 but i am not sure which one the roadspeed kit uses.

i am pretty sure its 20mm torsion and 23mm ARB but i could do with someone confirming this

I think the torsion bars are 21mm, and the ARB 23mm.

I presume it wasn't Del you spoke to then if "she wasn't sure" ?

Maybe worth another phone call ?

I've heard only good stuff about there roadspeed conversion. One day.........maybe

When NickR had the phase 2 kit on his car the rear tb's were 20mm, we measured them but never took the arb out to measure that & SBC wouldn't tell him over the phone iirc.
