Its not on a 205, but can you tell me where the brake pad low warning wires run on a 306?

-There is no sign of the wiring around the pads and struts but Im going to disable the whole circuit by chopping a section out as the bulb wont extinguish for no apparent reason..

Either that, or if you could tell me how to get behind the dash to where the bulbs are, that'd be great!

to get behind the dash

undo the steering column shroud (3 screws underside)

then theres 2 screws facing you at the botom of the front trim and 2 small torx screws going up into dash, this will remove the front cover.

Next theres 2 screws facing you again that hold the clocks in :P

Before removing the bulb try unplugging the brake fluid level switch on the resevoir, it may be faulty there.

the actual wiring runs from the clocks along inside dash then out through bulkhead down near passenger side footwell and into the wing and also out through drivers side footwell into the other wing.

If you want to retain the bulb for low fluid warning then you just need to snip one wire on the multiplugs on the back of the clocks and insulate it. haynes wiring schematics covers all the plugs pin by pin for the 306 :D

Cheers Richie!

I give you 95 out of 100 for that - I had to take 5 off for not telling me which pin :P

Done. Ended up taking the bulb out of the dash as nothing was turning it off.
