paul_portsmouth 3 Posted June 6, 2007 i noticed the engine stop light flashed at me the other day during hard braking to avoid hitting somone pulling out of a coene. but this evening its been coming on while going round bends and it seems the oil pressure guage is dropping right down to the red on long corners can anyone help ??? ALEX 98 1 Cars Posted June 10, 2007 The pick-up pipe is on the right and all the oil sloshes to the left when going around roundabouts. If the oil isn't at the Max mark on the dip stick then you get brief moments of oil starvation when ragging the car about. Not too damaging for the engine for road driving but you can buy a baffle plate that is sandwiched between the sump and block if you intend to go track racing.
