Guest neil f Posted June 6, 2007 Hi Guys, My 89 205 gti has slowly been developing a wobbly left wheel. It's still been driving ok but the steering has become steady more vague. Finally got round to checking it out today. The play is mostly coming from the steering rack with a small amount of play also in the ball joint at the streeing rack end of the track rod. I was woundering if any one had any experience of a worn rack failing i.e loss of steering? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
