Is it true that you can put 306 suspension (gti6 front struts etc) on a 205?

agreed, i have a set of 306 bilsteins allround, the only difference is that the anti rollbar pionts are in a slightly different place, but doesnt seam to cause any probs,

also you need to use 205 springs and top mounts,

but the setup works perfectly and seams v good

No the beam's different. Just the rear shocks can be used on a 205.

You can use the 306 trailing arms on a 205/309 beam though, if you are into tweaking your suspension :D

and 205parts will modify the 306 anti roll bar to fit a 309 (and maybe 205?) rear beam.

when you say 'tweaking your suspension' what do you mean? is the camber/castor different? as i know the arms are very similar,

also why do people fit zx arms? are these any different?

Yep, thats it, the camber and the toe angles are different. There is another thread on here somewhere all about it.
