Guttman Alloys On A White Gti

It's another one of my whims I'm afraid

 

Just found these Guttman rims on eBay and I'm tempted to have a bid. Just because I fancy something different and like the retro look.

 

 

 

But to be honest I'm not sure how they'd look. Reckon they'd be the dogs on a dark colour like back, sorrento (which is basically black anyway ) or graphite grey. But mine's white and only lowered by about 25mm too, so not sure it would look good.

 

Opinions anyone?

 

This is low quality shot of my car and the only one I have that is anywhere near a side shot. But it's pretty standard looking anyway so any side on shot of a white GTi would do. If anyone fancies some Photoshop jiggery pokery it would be appreciated

There is a few different types of those wheels i think though, flat faced and not, etc. there was a also a guy on the 309 forum selling a set not so long ago, not sure if he sold them though.

 

That style of wheels look very good IMO. As you've seen my Miami on similar-ish style wheels Steve.
