Jrod 7 Posted May 31, 2007 (edited) I had my mind set on cobra imola's but I saw these today and really like the style (and only £85 each!) What do people think, hold out for imolas or go for these? Edited May 31, 2007 by Jrod
Baz 421 Posted May 31, 2007 Judging by the look of them, and price, they're steel framed. Imola's are Diolen (a mix of materials, usually fibreglass/GRP/etc) therefore a large difference in the 2 seats. It really depends what you're after, the Imola's would be a lot lighter, and probably more comfortable for sustained periods. *shamelessness* Just buy my pair of Cobra's for £125! Jrod 7 Posted May 31, 2007 I've got Monacos atm, only reason I'm replacing is A they are red which shows the dirt and B they are tatty as you like.
boombang 2 Posted May 31, 2007 I'd suggest trying a few seats before you buy - I used to have some cheap Momos that were great, then some OMPs which again were very very comfy. Now have some Motordrive ones which are great too. However I find a lot of the wider seats aren't anywhere near as comfy - Monacos for example.
Jrod 7 Posted May 31, 2007 I fill them up ok though.

Baz 421 Posted June 2, 2007 @ Bonzai! The 'Ring jokes strike again! I have Sparco Evo's (same as Rev's) and a Cobra Imola, the imola is a little less comfortable, a bit stiffer i'd say tbh.
Henry 1.9GTi 36 Posted June 2, 2007 I just bought 2 of those sprint 5 seats make sure you do get the 5 version as they are sidemount unlike the old version. Also look better with that added stiching , payed £98 each though very comfy look the part and for the price they are very good. They are not too heavy either. I think only 0.5kg heavier than the sparco evo. Im sure those are the stats I saw. Try googling seat weights. would reccomend though.
